The Premier Group was selected as the Technology Provider for the 2009 Indianapolis Monthly Dream Home. This years Dream Home is one of the Top Floor Penthouses at 3 Mass Condominiums.  This project started with a great partnership between Halakar Properties, Keystone Construction and The Premier Group.  Premier furnished the Lighting Control, Distributed Audio, Distributed Video, Security & Networking systems.

As you walk through the Penthouse you come to the Retreat area that overlooks Downtown Indianapolis.  With the push of a button the Retreat area is transformed into a state of the art Media Room. In this room you will find the Planar 1080p DLP projector and a 100" motorized Stewart Filmscreen. The combination of these two products produces an image that you will want to take home with you. Complementing this vibrant video system you will find a just as impressive audio solution powered by a Rotel Surround Sound Receiver with seven channel B&W loudspeaker package and a Velodyne In-Wall Sub-woofer with power amplifier. The screen and speakers are all hidden within the ceiling and walls and disappear when not in use. This design provides the Penthouse with an unobstructed view of the fabulous Indianapolis skyline. 

As you tour the rest of this exquisite Penthouse you will find each room is filled with stunning distributed music provided by a Crestron switching system that allows for each room to enjoy independent audio sources simultaneously, including CD, XM, Sirius, iPod and AM & FM radio.  Most rooms feature Sonance Visual Performance speakers with their slim recessed profile, and the office features music from B&W's M1 monitor speakers.  But don't worry, your video needs were not forgotten.  Full 1080p HDMI Video distribution is provided to all the major living spaces.  You can enjoy independent DIRECTV, Bluray DVD and Kaleidescape Movies as well as optional Hulu, Apple TV, Netflix and other video sources.  Again, Crestron is at the heart of the system for Control, in order to provide a simple and intuitive customer interface. 

Other automation system amenities include centralized control over the Lighting & HVAC systems.  The integrated lighting system allows the Penthouse owner to benefit from to the overall energy savings this solution provides, as well as set the appropriate mood (morning, daytime, or evening) or any event desired in the major living areas.  The addition of the networked HVAC thermostats also provides a responsible method for combining the ultimate in comfort and energy savings.  All these great features for this Penthouse are accessible from a simple Crestron 8" wifi touchpanel, a variety of handheld controllers, or in-wall mounted panels and keypads.  You can also control the Penthouse from your PC, Mac, or iPhone.  Finally, all of the systems are expandable to allow the future homeowner to control any of their lifestyle needs and desires.
