Smart Security

A safe and secure home for your family needs to be smart enough to alert you when you’re home or away. Preview streaming video from security cameras right on your touch screen display or iPad®, iPhone® or Android™ device. At home, use your touch screen as a video intercom system so you can see who's at the door. While you're away, disarm alarm systems to let in the housekeeper or babysitter, then activate it as soon as they leave. Integrate with a lighting control system so lights turn on if an intrusion is detected or a dim pathway is lit when the smoke alarm is triggered.

Alarm Systems

An alarm system customized to your lifestyle will be the most effective at protecting what you value the most. Gain peace of mind with the confidence that you’ll be notified while you’re away if something in your home just isn’t right. Receive an e-mail that the alarm is not set or the door is open.  Access real-time information from touch screens and mobile devices. An integrated home alarm system can provide more safety by also triggering lights, surveillance, audio and climate based on the situation. Set the burglar alarm and secure doors and gates with a tap of your touch screen before going to bed.

Video Surveillance

With high-definition surveillance cameras in and around your home, you can monitor activities real-time whether you’re in the house or halfway around the globe. Receive live video streams of entrances to see who’s at the door, interior areas, the perimeter, or even check on the kids playing in the pool all from the same touch screen that controls your home entertainment system or from your smart mobile device. Camera types include pan-tilt-zoom, covert, long-range, nanny cams, and more. Activity is documented on a digital recorder so you can play back at your convenience.

Entry Systems/ Access Control

Our entry systems can be standalone or integrated into your phone system so that when someone rings the doorbell, your phone rings. You can pick up to speak to the visitor, or press a button to open the gate. Add video capability, and you can see who’s there. Or program your doorbell to pause the music system or provide notification on your TV so you never miss a ring. Access can be controlled with magnetic door locks, biometric fingerprint access, and perimeter barriers such as gate control. Together, we can customize a solution to your specific needs.

Remote Access

Access your home security system anytime, anywhere! No more running back home to make sure a door is locked, instead connect remotely from your Apple® or Android device to arm/disarm, check status, change codes, view surveillance, and more. We can route your security system through a central monitoring system alerting you via email or text message of events that you set. Get notified if the temperature in your wine cellar exceeds a certain level, or there’s a water leak. If integrated with your smart home control system, you can adjust the temperature or shut-off the water remotely.

Automated Door Locks

An automated door lock is convenient so you don’t have to juggle keys and it’s smart enough to report to your security system when someone enters or exits the house, as well as which passcode was used. You can receive a text or email when this happens which is a great way to know the kids arrived home safely from school or guests have arrived. Protect sensitive areas of your home like gun rooms, wine cellars and home theaters by installing automated door locks on interiors doors. Different sizes are available and some include the actual handset or doorknob. We’ll help you choose the one that’s right for your door and needs.

Fire / Life Safety

Increase safety in your home for your family by tying smoke, heat and gas detectors into your security system. When your smoke alarm is integrated it ensures rapid response from the fire department or your HVAC system can turn off to prevent fueling a fire. Heat detectors are used to detect fires in areas that are naturally smoky or dusty, such as kitchens, garages, and basements.  Protect your family’s well-being by monitoring carbon monoxide, natural gas and LP gas.  An alarm system can also be connected to health-related sensors including panic pendants and fall detectors.

Environmental Detection

Add layers of protection for your home from environmental conditions such as water leaks, temperature, and humidity. Water sensors placed by the sump pump, washing machine and beneath sinks can signal a security system whenever they detect moisture so you’ll know if your laundry room is flooding while you’re at work. If it’s integrated to a smart home control system your water supply can automatically turn off to prevent major damage. Sensors for temperature and humidity can detect and communicate other potentially harmful conditions such as when your furnace goes out, especially helpful when traveling or for a second home.

Motion Detection

What happens if an intruder gets past your window and door sensors? A motion detector provides a second line of defense to keep what matters to you most safe and secure. It’s similar to a sensor, except it detects motion and body heat. When motion is detected not only can alerts be made, but lights can be turned on and window shades can be closed if integrated to a smart home control system. We’re happy to discuss motion detection options for pet owners too. A secure home means peace of mind for your whole family. And what’s more important than that?

Driveway Sensors

Increase safety and convenience by knowing you have a visitor before they knock on the front door. A driveway sensor can notify you when a vehicle has entered your property by ringing your phone or sounding a chime. Use your surveillance camera to see if you recognize the guest or choose to not to answer the door. If you’re not home and a suspicious vehicle pulls in you can let your kids or guests know not to answer the door and make sure your security system is armed and doors are locked. Hardwired and wireless sensor models are available.

Outdoor Perimeter Protection

An outdoor perimeter alarm system provides added sense of security and frees the mind from additional worry whether at home or away. A great place to slow down an intruder is to create exposure at the property line. Detection is possible from gates, rooftops and buried cables. Sensors mounted on fences detect cut or climb attempts. Link outdoor lighting to increase effectiveness by drowning uninvited guests in light the moment they step foot on your property. Our outdoor perimeter security solutions are weatherproof and reliable even in harsh exterior environments.

Special Sirens

Go beyond standard security system alarms that activate in the event of an emergency and get notified for other activities. When somebody opens the gate to the swimming pool area a chime can ring to provide a nice heads-up. You might also add a siren to the backyard to deter intruders, and another to keep track of young children or an elderly relative by beeping when any exterior door opens. We can tailor special sirens and alerts to your unique needs.
